NEW TITLE
I decided to change the title of my blog. Why? How many
writers are out there? I’m not the only one named debbi (though I may be the
only one who spells it that way). This new title says a little more about me in
a goofy sort of way. Please make a comment and let me know what you think.
MUSINGS
I’ve been working on a new book—the sequel to “Ora’s Quest.”
That has kept me from writing much here. I’ve really been immersed in that and
some other projects, writing and otherwise. I apologize for my absence. I’ll
try to balance my attention a little better.
However, I have to say I’m really enjoying the ride as the characters
lead me to places I didn’t know they wanted to go. The process never ceases to
intrigue me.
One other little thing. (Well, it’s little you, but not to
me.) If you have read either of my books and enjoyed it, may I ask you to do
something for me? Go to Facebook, or my pages on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Goodreads,
Shelfari—anywhere you like—and make a comment. It will only take you a minute or two at most,
and it would do a lot to help me get the word out. Let me know if I can do

Your new title reminds me of a comment made by Pam years ago. When they were in the midst of remodeling their 100 year old home, people would ask Pam how she could live in such a mess. Her reply was something to the effect of her not living there, because "I live in my head." Sums it up well I think.
ReplyDeleteI love it! That is so like her. And I can relate--I've never felt all that connected to my surroundings. Those things change. But the real living happens inside.
